Prophet Adam (A .S) -- Biography

Prophet Adam

When Allah had created the heavens and the earth, He said to the angels, “I will create a Khalifa on earth, someone to carry out my orders.” They asked Allah, “Will you place someone on earth who will make mischief and shed blood, while we praise you and glorify your name?” And Allah said, “I know what you know not.”

The Creation of Prophet Adam

So Allah created Prophet Adam (Alayhis-salam) out of clay, and taught him the names of all things. He placed the things before the angels and asked the angels to tell Him the names of them, but the angels answered, “You are the exalted, and we know nothing except what you have taught us.” Allah then asked Adam (Alayhis-salam) the same question, and Adam (Alayhis-salam) was able to answer correctly.

Allah ordered the angels to bow down to Prophet Adam (Alayhis-salam) and they did so. But Iblis, or Shaitan, did not bow down. When Allah asked, “What kept you from bowing down when I commanded you ?” Iblis answered, “I am better than he. I was created from fire while he was made from clay.”

Upon hearing this response, Allah threw Shaitan out of paradise, but Shaitan vowed that he would lie in wait for Prophet Adam (Alayhis-salam) and his descendants, trying to divert them from the Straight Way. To which Allah replied, “If any of them follow you, Hell will I fill with you all.”

Meanwhile, Allah had created a wife, Hawa, for Prophet Adam (Alayhis-salam), and he told them to live in the garden of paradise, Jannah, but he warned them to stay away from one particular tree, lest it bring harm to them. Shaitan started whispering suggestions to Prophet Adam and Hawa (Alayhis-salam). He spoke in such a clever way that they were convinced he was only concerned for their well-being. He told them that the forbidden tree would make them immortal and that they would live forever like the angels if they ate from it. Shaitan spoke so convincingly that Adam and Hawa (Alayhis-salam) believed him. As soon as they tasted the tree, they realized that they were naked, and started trying to cover themselves with leaves from the garden, for it now seemed wrong to be uncovered.

Then Allah called to them, “Did I not tell you to stay away from that tree, and didn’t I warn you that Shaitan was your sworn enemy?”

Prophet Adam & Hawa sent to earth

Prophet Adam and Hawa (Alayhis-salam) were immediately full of remorse and begged for forgiveness and mercy from Allah. Allah ordered them out of Jannah and sent them to live on earth. He said, “Therein shall you live, and therein shall you die, but from it you shall be taken out at last.” Prophet Adam (Alayhis-salam) and his offspring began to live on earth according to Allah’s command.

And so we are all the descendants of Prophet Adam and Hawa (Alayhis-salam), the first humans to be placed on earth. Here on earth we shall all live and die, and from here we shall all be made to return to Allah. It is our choice whether we shall be taken to Jannah or join the disobedient and deceitful Shaitan in Hell. Allah, in His infinite mercy, realizes that we will sometimes be led astray by Shaitan. Allah taught Prophet Adam (Alayhis-salam) some prayers for repentance and seeking pardon for wrongdoing.

Prophet Adam (Alayhis-salam) was the first prophet to bring Allah’s message to mankind, so that we might know how to worship Allah and how to seek forgiveness for our mistakes. This message was completed to perfection by Allah through his last prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

The story of Prophet Adam (Alayhis-salam) can be found in the Quran, Surah 2, Ayat 30-37 and Surah 7, Ayat 10-27.

Indeed ALLAH Is His Protector

Indeed ALLAH Is His Protector

If you two [wives] repent to Allah , [it is best], for your hearts have deviated. But if you cooperate against him - then indeed Allah is his protector, and Gabriel and the righteous of the believers and the angels, moreover, are [his] assistants.
Perhaps his Lord, if he divorced you [all], would substitute for him wives better than you - submitting [to Allah ], believing, devoutly obedient, repentant, worshipping, and traveling - [ones] previously married and virgins.

اگر تم دونوں خدا کے آگے توبہ کرو (تو بہتر ہے کیونکہ) تمہارے دل کج ہوگئے ہیں۔ اور اگر پیغمبر (کی ایذا) پر باہم اعانت کرو گی تو خدا اور جبریل اور نیک کردار مسلمان ان کے حامی (اور دوستدار) ہیں۔ اور ان کے علاوہ (اور) فرشتے بھی مددگار ہیں
اگر پیغمبر تم کو طلاق دے دیں تو عجب نہیں کہ ان کا پروردگار تمہارے بدلے ان کو تم سے بہتر بیبیاں دے دے۔ مسلمان، صاحب ایمان فرمانبردار توبہ کرنے والیاں عبادت گذار روزہ رکھنے والیاں بن شوہر اور کنواریاں

He Who Will Read Surah Fatihah and Last Ayats of Surah Baqarah, Allah Will Grant Him What He Needs and His Prayers Will Never Rejected.

Quran: Surat Al-FatihahVerse: 1-7

In Arabic:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ

إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ

اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ

صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ

In English:

In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

"[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds. The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful, Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. It is You we worship and You we ask for help. Guide us to the straight path. The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray."

In Urdu:

شروع الله کا نام لے کر جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے

سب طرح کی تعریف خدا ہی کو (سزاوار) ہے جو تمام مخلوقات کا پروردگار ہےبڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والاانصاف کے دن کا حاکم(اے پروردگار) ہم تیری ہی عبادت کرتے ہیں اور تجھ ہی سے مدد مانگتے ہیںہم کو سیدہے رستے پر چلاان لوگوں کے رستے جن پر تو اپنا فضل وکرم کرتا رہا نہ ان کے جن پر غصے ہوتا رہا اور نہ گمراہوں کے

Quran: Surat Al-Baqarah
Verse: 284, 285, 286

In Arabic:

لِّلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ وَإِن تُبْدُوا مَا فِي أَنفُسِكُمْ أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ يُحَاسِبْكُم بِهِ اللَّهُ ۖ فَيَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَاءُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِن رَّبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۚ كُلٌّ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّن رُّسُلِهِ ۚ وَقَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ۖ غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ

لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا ۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا اكْتَسَبَتْ ۗ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ ۖ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا ۚ أَنتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

In English:

To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. Whether you show what is within yourselves or conceal it, Allah will bring you to account for it. Then He will forgive whom He wills and punish whom He wills, and Allah is over all things competent.

The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], "We make no distinction between any of His messengers." And they say, "We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination."

Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people."

In Urdu:

جو کچھ آسمانوں میں اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے سب خدا ہی کا ہے۔ تم اپنے دلوں کی بات کو ظاہر کرو گے تو یا چھپاؤ گے تو خدا تم سے اس کا حساب لے گا پھر وہ جسے چاہے مغفرت کرے اور جسے چاہے عذاب دے۔ اور خدا ہر چیز پر قادر ہے

رسول (خدا) اس کتاب پر جو ان کے پروردگار کی طرف سے ان پر نازل ہوئی ایمان رکھتے ہیں اور مومن بھی۔ سب خدا پر اور اس کے فرشتوں پر اور اس کی کتابوں پر اور اس کے پیغمبروں پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں (اورکہتے ہیں کہ) ہم اس کے پیغمبروں سے کسی میں کچھ فرق نہیں کرتے اور وہ (خدا سے) عرض کرتے ہیں کہ ہم نے (تیرا حکم) سنا اور قبول کیا۔ اے پروردگار ہم تیری بخشش مانگتے ہیں اور تیری ہی طرف لوٹ کر جانا ہے

خدا کسی شخص کو اس کی طاقت سے زیادہ تکلیف نہیں دیتا۔ اچھے کام کرے گا تو اس کو ان کا فائدہ ملے گا برے کرے گا تو اسے ان کا نقصان پہنچے گا۔ اے پروردگار اگر ہم سے بھول یا چوک ہوگئی ہو تو ہم سے مؤاخذہ نہ کیجیو۔ اے پروردگار ہم پر ایسا بوجھ نہ ڈالیو جیسا تو نے ہم سے پہلے لوگوں پر ڈالا تھا۔ اے پروردگار جتنا بوجھ اٹھانے کی ہم میں طاقت نہیں اتنا ہمارے سر پر نہ رکھیو۔ اور (اے پروردگار) ہمارے گناہوں سے درگزر کر اور ہمیں بخش دے۔ اور ہم پر رحم فرما۔ تو ہی ہمارا مالک ہے اور ہم کو کافروں پر غالب فرما

Allah Does Not Charge A Soul Except Its Capacity

Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people."


خدا کسی شخص کو اس کی طاقت سے زیادہ تکلیف نہیں دیتا۔ اچھے کام کرے گا تو اس کو ان کا فائدہ ملے گا برے کرے گا تو اسے ان کا نقصان پہنچے گا۔ اے پروردگار اگر ہم سے بھول یا چوک ہوگئی ہو تو ہم سے مؤاخذہ نہ کیجیو۔ اے پروردگار ہم پر ایسا بوجھ نہ ڈالیو جیسا تو نے ہم سے پہلے لوگوں پر ڈالا تھا۔ اے پروردگار جتنا بوجھ اٹھانے کی ہم میں طاقت نہیں اتنا ہمارے سر پر نہ رکھیو۔ اور (اے پروردگار) ہمارے گناہوں سے درگزر کر اور ہمیں بخش دے۔ اور ہم پر رحم فرما۔ تو ہی ہمارا مالک ہے اور ہم کو کافروں پر غالب فرما

Surat Al-Baqarah - Verse 286

Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) about Dua

Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) ka Irshad-e-Pak hai ke :

3 Aayato'n mein ALLAH ka Ism-e-Azam hai, jis ke zariye Dua mangi jaye to radd nai hoti.

1) اللَّهُ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ 

Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence.
خدا (جو معبود برحق ہے) اس کے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں ہمیشہ زندہ رہنے والا

[Surat Aal-Imran #2]

2) اللَّهُ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ

Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
خدا (وہ معبود برحق ہے کہ) اس کے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں زندہ ہمیشہ رہنے والا اسے نہ اونگھ آتی ہے نہ نیند جو کچھ آسمانوں میں اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہیں سب اسی کا ہے کون ہے جو اس کی اجازت کے بغیر اس سے (کسی کی) سفارش کر سکے جو کچھ لوگوں کے روبرو ہو رہا ہے اور جو کچھ ان کے پیچھے ہوچکا ہے اسے سب معلوم ہے اور وہ اس کی معلومات میں سے کسی چیز پر دسترس حاصل نہیں کر سکتے ہاں جس قدر وہ چاہتا ہے (اسی قدر معلوم کرا دیتا ہے) اس کی بادشاہی (اور علم) آسمان اور زمین سب پر حاوی ہے اور اسے ان کی حفاظت کچھ بھی دشوار نہیں وہ بڑا عالی رتبہ اور جلیل القدر ہے

[Aayat-ul-Kursi, Surah Al-Baqarah # 255] 

3) وَعَنَتِ الْوُجُوهُ لِلْحَيِّ الْقَيُّومِ ۖ وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنْ حَمَلَ ظُلْمًا

And [all] faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. And he will have failed who carries injustice.
اور اس زندہ و قائم کے رو برو منہ نیچے ہوجائیں گے۔ اور جس نے ظلم کا بوجھ اٹھایا وہ نامراد رہا
